Instead of epilogue

Between 29-31 May 2009, in Constanta, at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the University "Ovidius", was held the 9 th International Scientific Conference "Perspectives in physical education and sports.

The large number of participants (over 250) of participants gave consistency and scientific works were part of a high scientific level, teachers, coaches, managers, doctors, they expressing admiration in unison and consideration about the organization and with ideas that it have easy carrying in this conference.

Participation of delegates from over 10 universities from Romania, 12 structures specific sport at national level, representatives of universities and other structures of coordination in Turkey (18-over 40 universities participating), Italy (2 university-4 participants), Bulgaria (2 university-4 participants), Iraq (2 participants), Czech Republic (2 participants), the Republic of Gambia (2 participants) was a very good participation in the scientific conferences organized by our faculty.

Conference topics included various topics regarding physical education curricula in the participating countries, applied studies and research in sport performance and great performance, experiments on the role of different minerals during physical effort, methods of recovery, sports management, with ideas valuable in organizing and conducting sporting structures vary.

Among participants, the authors highlight that: Ibrahim Cicioglu, Fatma Arslan, Haluk Koc, (Gazi University), Halil Taskil and Nurtekin Erkmen (Selciuk University), Sefa Lok, Murat Tekin (Karamanoglu University), Reha Bicici (Dicle University), Eleonora Mileva (National Sports Academy in Sofia), N. Gunduz (Ankara University), Dhurgham Jasim (Mouse University, Iraq).

The Conference presence in the databases of the European College of Sport Science, Copernicus database, indexing Scientific Review of faculty in databases prestigious in the world, give the articles value of the 5 sections: sports performance, physical education and sport, management and marketing in sport, kinetotherapy, vary, coordinators in plenary presentations and workshops (PhD Professor George Stanculescu, PhD Professor Mirela Damian, PhD Professor Cecilia Gevat, PhD Professor Mehmet Günay (Univ. Gazi, Ankara), PhD Professor Rudolf Psotta (Univ. Charles, Praga), PhD Assoc Prof. Hazar Fatih (Univ. A. Menderez, Aydin) setting at the end of the conference followed the ways of scientific research in our field.
