Total of medals: 3 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze,
4th place on university centers (19 university centers attended)
In the
final phase of the National Championships University Athletics, the first
national competition of this year's calendar, there were the best athletes
students of Constanta.
Following their participation, were obtained valuable results, which placed the
university representative from Black Sea coast on an honored 4th
place among the 19 participating academic centers.
Among the results reported in this edition highlights the performance obtained by Cristina Bujin (triple jump, 14.00 m, the best result of the contest), Cristina Toma in the same sample and Ana Maria Greceanu the sample in walk. These results give us hope for the upcoming World University Games (04.-09.07 2009), that have come to the 25th edition, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia. To point the fact that Iulian Geambazu and Elena Sabau won also some medals.
